We will convene an ongoing weekly reading group studying art history, beginning with Rococo and the French Revolution. We will distribute PDFs through a WhatsApp Group here: https://chat.whatsapp.com/Ldgp3i4ezEzAfMMq372vQJ?mode=gi_t We will have printed copies of the first chapter available at the gallery as part of Doi Joi on Thursday, March 12th. Every week will require reading responses including finding a Romanian artist from the time period studied, and comparing and contrasting the role of Romanian art with the Western art history canon. Free and open to the public.
