Space - Incubator I Vladimir Păun Vrapciu 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐮𝐥𝐚 𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐚̆ 𝐱 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝟓𝟑 May 8th - 17h 2025, vernissage May 17th, 7PM "The Incubator installation is an important component of the Space exhibition. The vision of the “Space” exhibition begins on March 15th, on the 41st day of total closure in the interior space of my home in Bucharest, as a result of the restrictions imposed by the authorities due to the pandemic. This was the moment when the human spirit began to develop the idea of ​​finding a solution that could protect the human body from an unseen danger. A feeling of panic, followed by a feeling of self-defense and self-protection. The created forms, presented in the “Space” exhibition, were born in my mind as a vision of an organic form that could ensure the protection of the human soul, so that it could circulate freely, in order to rediscover the lost spaces in the universe, which have yet to be discovered. The human spirit has always had an unstoppable desire to conquest of space, regardless of its terrestrial or spatial form. The installation “Incubator” is a projection of the installation that will bring life back to planet Earth with the help of artificial intelligence after an artificial cataclysm." About the artist: Vladimir Păun-Vrapciu, architect and artist, with remarkable results in both creative fields, is in full ascension of his artistic capacity. His architectural projects have been selected for various Annuals and Biennials in recent years (at the National Architecture Biennial of Romania 2018, 2021, 2023; at the Architecture section of the International Biennale in Florence 2019). As an artist, he has so far traveled an impressive path, creating a path in the world of art galleries, museums in the country and abroad.
