Inner Landscapes – Dialogues #3 is a project by Martyna Benedyka, Alexandra Mărgărint and April Ibinceanu, which began in 2024. The project was proposed and curated by Martyna Benedyka and emerges from shared experiences of illness, loss, and physical and emotional vulnerability in the period surrounding the pandemic. The first phase of the project was completed in August 2024, and the second phase ended in March 2026. The project is based on a continuous exchange between the three artists, where conversation itself becomes both method and material. Each piece functions as a voice – sometimes quiet, sometimes bold – but always aware of the others. The artists’ exchange, through gestures, textures, silences, and sounds, becomes a private space where vulnerability is not presented for judgement, but held safely and respectfully. The project is aimed at a broad audience, including patients recovering from surgery or cancer treatment, people living with mental health conditions, medical staff, students, adolescents, and adults. The audience is invited into a reflective space where vulnerability is experienced as a shared human condition.
